Through the walk up gate and across the creek at the bottom of the MTB track. These power lines on the south border of the landing paddock are traveling approximately east west which is 90 degrees elbow to other power lines, and you are likely to fly parallel when landing about easterly final to land uphill towards windsock.\u0026nbsp;\u003c/span\u003e\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAt the request of the land-owner, there is no access to the landing field at the fence near the windsock. Please do not climb through the fence at this location.\u0026nbsp;The only access to the landing field is through the gate next to the bus shelter.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;PLEASE ensure that the gate is always left closed. Don’t rely on someone else to shut it. If you leave the gate, you leave the gate closed.\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cu\u003eBottom of MTB Track\u003c/u\u003e\u003c/strong\u003e\u003c/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis alternate landing area is\u0026nbsp;on the north side of the creek at the\u0026nbsp;bottom of the MTB track.\u0026nbsp;\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis landing area is a PG4 and above, or PG3 under supervision of a SAFA flight instructor only.\u0026nbsp;\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe landing field is tight, and should only be landed to the west (approach from the east). There is a quite high powerline at the western end of the paddock. You need to be high enough to get on to Witheren and out into the Kerry Valley.\u0026nbsp;\u003c/span\u003e\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 16px;\"\u003e Be aware of power lines in the bombout that run both parallel and perpendicular to Launch (western and southern side of bombout area). The main valley power line runs directly through the middle of the landing field and it’s quite common to not have enough height to get over the line if bombing out.
